The kindergarten card need not look like the upper school's. Build one per grade from ready-made parts: a skills checklist for the youngest, letter grades by quarter, the virtues, a grading key, a message from the school, signature lines. Print a whole class at once; parents see posted cards in the portal.

For hybrid and four-day schools, tag each lesson campus or home and write the instructions for the mother or father beside your own notes. Publish the week and each family gets one checklist for all their children, ticked off as they go.

Bible, chapel and holy days

Bible and theology are courses like any other: scheduled, graded and on the transcript beside Latin. Chapel sits on the weekly schedule. Enter a holy day once and the planner and attendance both follow it. The conduct section is named and worded as your handbook says.

Arizona's ESA, Utah Fits All, Texas Education Freedom Accounts and 8 more state programs. Each child gets an ESA invoice with grade and dates of service, payment reports from ClassWallet, Odyssey or Step Up show which invoices they pay before anything posts, and verification letters print per child.

Questions classical schools ask

We're a classical Christian school. Does anything have to be worked around?
Not that we have found. Bible and theology are courses like any other: scheduled, graded, credited and printed on the transcript. Chapel days and holy days are calendar entries the planner and attendance respect, entered once. The conduct or character section of the report card carries your name for it and your own wording for each level, and the discipline steps are the ones in your handbook. What Pearspark does not do is the church side of a church school: no giving or tithing records, no membership rolls, no donor database.
We add a grade every year. Will we outgrow it?
Not by adding grades. Kindergarten checklists, letter grades in the middle years, and credits, GPA and transcripts in the high school all run in the same system, on the same child's record. The price follows your enrollment on one published scale, and no part is held back for a bigger plan. Pearspark is built for schools of 20 to a few hundred students.
Can transcripts carry Latin, logic and rhetoric?
Yes. Courses are whatever you teach, and transcripts list every year and course with credits and GPA. Years of past records import from a spreadsheet with a preview first, so a transcript is complete from the first year, not from the year you joined.
We meet two or three days a week. Does it handle home days?
Yes. Tag each lesson campus or home, write the instructions for the mother or father, and publish the week. Families get one email and one checklist for all their children and tick work off as they go; you see what was done and anything they flagged.
Who can see our students' data?
Only your school. Every school's data is kept separate, staff access is set per person by role, families see only their own children, and every view of a student record is logged: who, what and when.
Is our students' data used to train AI?
No, never. We don't use your school's data to train AI models or share it with AI services, and we'll put that in writing for your board: ask at support@pearspark.com.
Can we start with just admissions this fall?
Yes. Take next year's tours, applications and re-enrollment in Pearspark now. When the new year starts, every accepted student is already in the system, so attendance, grades and billing start without retyping anyone. One price covers all of it either way.
